KNOW AND GO . ORG

We are an accessible information organization providing location-specific, comprehensive evacuation guidance to the general public prior to and during natural disasters and mass casualty events.
OUR STORY
an informed public is an empowered public:
we're tackling the WHEN, the WHERE, the HOW and the WHAT'S NEXT before
the emergency happens.
we're empowering + educating communities and their visitors about what to do when tsunamis, wildfires, earthquakes and other natural disasters and mass casualty events occur.
OUR APPROACH
CUSTOMIZED CONTENT FOR DIFFERENT MUNICIPAL NEEDS
Analysis
We work with local public service departments and knowledgeable community partners to compile, analyze and aggregate various evacuation routes + emergency resource information for the most accurate, comprehensive and recent information possible.
Each step of our analysis is based upon a single, first-priority question: what information would our loved ones need if they had to evacuate a place they were visiting for the first time?
We streamline information around this approach.
Execution
We develop fresh strategies for each municipality based on different community needs, by building 'mini-sites' to hold clear, concise information resources capable of educating a wide variety of audiences, from emergency responders to lifelong locals to weekend tourists, all available with a simple QR code scan or entering the unique URL.

Our team ensures every campaign is optimized for maximum risk mitigation.
Optimization
Numerous studies show that public education campaigns effectively impact real-time outcomes in emergency situations, and our continuous monitoring, resource updates and site optimization mean that cities, towns and villages can communicate important information for residents and visitors as situations evolve during public emergencies. We refine individual content and strategies based on data insights to enhance performance.
